Captain Joel has thirty years of experience fishing the waters of the Texas gulf coast and makes NO false promise, but is dedicated to seeing that your Galveston Bay fishing charter is an exciting and memorable trip that you'll want to repeat. He is Coast Guard licensed, as well as TPWD licensed.

Captain Joel is a member in good standing with the Texas Saltwater Guide Association and S.A.L.T.  Captain Cooper can tailor any trip to your specific needs. While we have the capability to carry up to six people, we normally try to limit excursions to four people per boat, to insure a maximum fishing experience. Multi-boat parties can also be arranged with sufficient notice. From the novice to the hardcore fisherman, including family outings or wade fishing and drifting, using live bait or lures, you make the call.  Whether private or corporate, Coop's Charter will do everything to ensure that you have an unmatched fishing experience.

Captain Cooper trailers the boat to the nearest designated fishing departure point in the vast Galveston Bay fishing complex. This eliminates the time normally spent boating from just one pre-selected dock, getting you to your desired fishing area faster. This ensures that you have the maximum fishing time possible.

The Galveston Bay Complex offers fishermen the chance to experience some of the finest fishing in the state. Inshore or bay fishing is great year-round for Trout, Redfish and Flounder. If you would like to book an offshore charter, Captain Joel can help you with that also.

Yamaha engine and all the necessary electronics and needed safety equipment.
